    Sales & Marketing Manger (Maize/Corn Milling)

    Job Summary:

    • The Sales and Marketing Professional will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote and sell our maize mill products, including flour, grits, and offal.
    • This role requires extensive experience in the milling industry, particularly in maize/corn milling, to effectively position our products in the market and drive sales growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote maize mill products.
    • Identify and target potential customers, including wholesalers, retailers, and industrial clients.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the maize milling industry.
    • Create compelling marketing materials and campaigns to raise brand awareness.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
    • Represent Olabel Farms at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

    Qualifications:

    Health Safety Security and Environment Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
    • Inspects facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventive measures to mitigate their occurrence.
    • Maintain HSSE performance report including records /statistics
    • Conduct internal incident investigations in the cause of any incidence and generating HSE reports statistics.
    • Represent the company within the terminal on matters related to safety health & environment
    • Responsible for liaison with relevant HSE regulatory and certification agency
    • Plan and coordinate HSSE training activities including orientation/induction training for new employees, monitor
    • Safety performance of contractors to company
    • Ensure availability of adequate personal protective equipment
    • Organizes and schedule safety drills and emergency preparedness
    • Supervise security operatives to ensure adequate surveillance of all operations on site to prevent any form of accidents, crime incidents, chaos, loss of property or any unnecessary exposures to the business
    • Maintain an effective and consistent access control and identification in the factory and proper safety induction for staff, visitors and contractors
    • Ensure that physical and material assets of the company and third parties are safely positioned and secured within the company’s premises
    • Control of environmental impacts based on the prevention of pollution and proper waste management, minimization of pollution using the best available techniques (BAT);
    • Assist in the implementation of project specific environmental management plan;
    • Awareness of any risk to the environment which may occur within or outside the agreed site area as a result of activities;
    • Providing information, training and instruction to enhance awareness of relevant environmental issues and to ensure effective management of environmental impacts;
    • Report on clear environmental performance indicators including, monthly environmental inspection audits, incident performance rates, training achievements and monthly environmental objectives
    • Responsible for Environmental Protection in plant such as spill prevention and remediation, green environment.
    • Ensure Good Housekeeping within the mill and premises
    • Monitoring waste generated and ensuring regular disposal by relevant agent.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of Bachelor Degree/HND in any Safety related course or Science Course
    • Minimum of 5years in HSSE experience preferably in a manufacturing environment and a member of recognized professional body (e.g. IOSH, NISP)
    • Certifications in Safety/Risk Management is an added Advantage
    • IT literate, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
    • Vast in HSE global best practices and implementation
    • Resilience and Environmental Awareness;
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Vigilant, observant and prompt at incident reporting and response

    Logistics / Warehouse Officer

    Job description

    • The warehousing officer will be responsible for all Logistics and warehousing operations and maintaining quality and integrity of stock in all warehouses.

    Key responsibilities

    • Produce daily, weekly and monthly stock update for Management decision making
    • Develop and implement strategies for material storage and movement
    • Coordinating drivers, vehicles, loading and shipping
    • Develop, implement and monitor an efficient inventory management system at all warehouses, silos and stores under OGTL
    • Ensure that the right quantities of stock items are readily available, raise alarm on depleting stock
    • Conduct periodic spot checks on processes and stock at all warehouses/stores to ensure compliance to policies and processes.

Although the installation of these systems will be handled by our suppliers, the engineer will be expected to learn and supervise the process, ensuring smooth operations post-installation.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the milling industry, preferably in flour/maize milling.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
    • Proficient in using electrical design software and tools.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
